What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, quietramp.com collects: what you type into the contact form (name optional, email required, the website you'd like audited optional, and your message); the URL you submit for a free automated scan, and the email address you give us to unlock the full results; and, if you buy an audit, the site URL, email, and any instructions you provide at checkout, plus payment details handled directly by Stripe (see below) — we never see or store your card number. All of this is sent to our own server over the same connection as the rest of the site; none of it is handled by a third-party form service.

If you email [email protected]directly instead, that's a normal email and subject to your and our email providers' own handling, not this form.

Analytics and cookies

We use PostHog for product analytics — which pages you visit, and events like starting a free scan or unlocking a report. Once you give us an email (unlocking a scan, checking out, or contacting us), we link that activity to you; before that, it's tied to an anonymous browser identifier only.

PostHog may also record session replays — mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling — so we can see where people get stuck and fix it. Every form field on this site (email, checkout details) is masked in those recordings; nothing you type is ever captured.

If you arrive via a Google Ads click, we set one first-party cookie (qr_gclid) to remember which ad brought you here, so we can tell which ads actually lead to scans, unlocks, or purchases. It's ours — not a third-party tracker — expires after 90 days, and only stores the ad click id itself. We don't use it, or anything else on the site, to track you across other websites.
